ARRESTS: 

On 10/7/2021, Tpr M. Koontz responded to Walmart, California, MD for a reported theft.  Investigation revealed the suspects, Johnnie William Raines, 44 of Mechanicsville, MD and Carlonte Antoine Knott, 29 of Hollywood, MD stole merchandise totaling approximately $400. Raines was found to have an active
Parole/Retake warrant. Search incident to arrest revealed CDS: Not Marijuana (suspected Cocaine) located in Raines’ possession. Both were transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with Theft $100 to under $1500.  Raines was additionally charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession Paraphernalia.

On 10/7/2021, Tpr Jordan Pope conducted a traffic stop in the area of Three Notch Road and First Colony Blvd, California, MD.  Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Eric Lamont Figeroux, 47 of Lexington Park, MD, the odor of marijuana was detected.  A probable cause search revealed a civil amount of Marijuana and CDS: Not Marijuana (suspected Heroin / Crack Cocaine / Prescriptions). Figeroux was placed under arrest and transported to the St Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession Paraphernalia.

On 10/9/2021, Tpr J. Engleman conducted a traffic stop in the area of Mervell Dean Road, Hollywood, MD. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Malcolm Carl Young, 45 of District Heights, MD, the odor of marijuana was detected.  A probable cause search revealed a civil amount of Marijuana and a plastic bag containing CDS: Not Marijuana (suspected Adderall). Young was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with CDS: Possession-Not Marijuana and CDS: Possession Paraphernalia.

On 10/10/2021, Troopers responded to the area of Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD for a reported assault.  Investigation revealed the suspect, identified as John Michael Wood, Jr, 34 of Mechanicsville, MD, did assault two victims on the scene.  Wood fled the residence prior to police arrival but was located a short time later. Wood was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with First Degree Assault; two counts of Second Degree Assault; and CDS: Possession in a place of confinement.

• On 10/6/2021, Monet Nacole Bunter, 21 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tpr J. Barlow for FTA-Driving on Suspended License

• On 10/6/2021, Brandon Marshall Wehler, 22 of Hollywood, MD was arrested by Tpr J. Barlow for FTA-Trespassing

• On 10/7/2021, Michael Hemi Fischer, 24 of Mechanicsville, MD was arrested by Tpr J. Barlow for FTA-Assault First Degree

• On 10/9/2021, Hope Gover Beggs, 65 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tfc E. Ruggles for FTA-Driving without a License

• On 10/10/2021, Dayshwan Martel Nolan, 28 of Avenue, MD was arrested by Tfc A. Opirhory for FTA-Driving without a License

• On 10/11/2021, Jermell Delontae Jones, 33 of Lexington Park, MD was arrested by Tpr C. Baden for FTA-Driving on Suspended License
