On Aug. 18 at 2 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Bud’s Liquors located at 2539 Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the reported armed robbery.
The investigation revealed two employees were closing the business and locking the doors when they were accosted by a masked suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded money. The victims complied and the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect described only as a black male wearing black clothing and a black ski mask.
