On Oct. 9 at 2:17 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to the 7-Eleven on Smallwood Drive East in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed two masked men entered the store, approached a clerk, discharged a round from a handgun and demanded cash. The clerk complied and the suspects fled on foot. A K-9 track led to a nearby residential neighborhood, but a suspect was not located.
