Mechanicsville Elementary School will host its Kindergarten Readiness Night on Wednesday, April 21, 6:00-7:00 p.m., at the school site located at 28585 Three Notch Road, Mechanicsville, MD.
Parents of students attending the school’s kindergarten program during the 2010-2011 school year are encouraged to attend this event along with their child. This is an opportunity to prepare your child for kindergarten. You and your child will be introduced to important areas such as handwriting, fine motor development, phonological awareness, math concepts, and ways to interact with your child while reading. This will also be a great opportunity to visit the school, meet teachers, meet other students, and obtain your 2010-2011 registration packet.
