Drug Arrest – On Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:45pm, TFC M. B. Adams located George Francis Butler, 60, of Mechanicsville for service of an outstanding warrant. Mr. Butler was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was to be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner. However, during intake procedures at the Detention Center a piece of paper fell from Mr. Butler’s already logged property, revealing CDS – Crack Cocaine. Mr. Butler was additionally charged with CDS Possession. He was held at the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending the bond review.
