During the late Friday afternoon rush hour, Bay District Company 3 and the Lexington Park Rescue Squad were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Great Mills Road and Carver School Boulevard.
The first arriving units found the motorcycle and rider in the outside lane of northbound Great Mills Road and the white four-door Chevy sedan was in the left lanes of Carver School Blvd.
The accident closed both north bound lanes of Great Mills Road.
EMS personal transported the rider to St. Mary’s hospital while St. Mary’s County Sheriff officers remained on the scene.
