Motorcyclist Suffers Minor Injuries Following Accident Involving A Deer

RIDGE, Md. — One person has been sent to the hospital following an unusual morning encounter on the road.

At approximately 10:15 a.m. on October 9, first responders were called to the scene of a reported motorcycle accident in the 14000 block of Point Lookout Road, in the area of St. Peter Claver Road.

Upon arrival, crews were advised that the driver of the motorcycle was knocked off after colliding with a deer. The driver advised that they had suffered minor injuries. 

The motorcycle operator would be transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for further treatment following the accident. It is unclear at this time what happened to the deer.
