Motor vehicle accident reported in front of school

UPDATE 3:45 PM – The scene is currently being cleared. Tow trucks are removing the vehicles from the scene and traffic is again operating normally.

UPDATE 3:29 PM – Two patients are currently being tended to with non-life threatening injuries. The helicopter request has been cancelled.

UPDATE 3:11 PM – A helicopter has been requested. Police are requesting units on both the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds and on the road southbound of the accident in the vicinity of Leonardtown High School.
