Rogue and Vagabond – On Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2:09pm, TFC G. A Thompson responded to the
area of the McKay’s Food Store on Merchants Lane in Leonardtown for a reported subject attempting to break
into vehicles. Upon arrival, TFC Thompson made contact with two witnesses that pointed out the subject that
was attempting to gain access into the vehicles. Contact was then made with subject, who was later identified as
Charles Eric Carroll, 22, of Avenue. Mr. Carroll was detained by TFC Thompson while further information
was obtained from the witnesses. Following information provided by Mr. Carroll, and numerous witnesses
TFC Thompson placed Mr. Carroll under arrest. Mr. Carroll was transported to the St. Mary’s County
Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court
Commissioner. (1182006101)
Drug Arrest – On Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 7:44pm, Tpr. R. L. Jackson conducted a traffic stop on a
black BMW passenger vehicle in the area of Old Village Road and Commerce Park Drive for a traffic violation.
