WHITE PLAINS, Md. — Multiple people were injured Saturday evening in a three-vehicle crash with rollover and entrapment on Bensville Road in White Plains.
The crash happened Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, around 6:40 p.m. in the 7000 block of Bensville Road, where emergency crews were sent after reports of a serious collision involving multiple vehicles.
Firefighters arriving on scene found one vehicle overturned with occupants trapped inside. Rescue crews cut away parts of the vehicle to reach patients, while others involved in the crash were evaluated nearby.
Officials requested multiple advanced life support units and initially called for two helicopters due to the severity of the injuries. One helicopter was later canceled, and a critically injured patient was flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 2 to UM Capital Region Medical Center.
Several additional patients — including teenagers and adults — were evaluated and transported by ground ambulances to UM Capital Region Medical Center and UM Charles Regional Medical Center with injuries ranging from serious to less severe.
Bensville Road was impacted for an extended period as crews worked to rescue patients and clear the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.

It was actually involving 3 vehicles. They hit our truck before ending up down the road.
