Bay District Volunteer Fire Department responded at 2:58 pm, to a report of a personal injury accident on Three Notch Road and Buck Hewitt Road in Lexington Park . The crash involved four vehicles, one being an STS bus.
A witness states that there was an object in the road which made the STS bus slam on the breaks causing the traffic behind the bus to rear end each other.
One patient was transported via ambulance to Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital.
Multiple lanes are blocked both southbound and northbound. Please avoid this area.
