On Dec. 1, detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations obtained information that Oliver G. Malone, III, 32 of Hollywood had entered into a dialog with another subject to have his former girlfriend murdered for an undetermined amount of money.
Surveillance was conducted and telephone recordings obtained indicating Mr. Malone’s actions were in the planning stages of causing harm to the victim. Malone further agreed to provide a photograph of the victim, to his contact person, in order to facilitate the murder of the victim.
Malone was located, placed under arrest without incident, charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.
