You “otter” have a Merry Christmas
Solomons, MD — With pretty miserable weather outside during the annual Solomons Christmas Walk Friday and Saturday night, the Calvert Marine Museum offered a warm, inviting respite inside. With free admission both nights, crowds flocked to the museum to look at the exhibits, check out the gift shop and take advantage of the holiday music and special activities.
The museum store offers high quality, “Made in America” gifts for everyone’s shopping list. They are stocked with Chesapeake Bay inspired jewelry, home décor, clothing, toys, books and much more.
Of course Santa was on hand to greet the kids. But also wondering around was the museum’s otter.
Music was provided on Friday by the Cosmic Flute Choir, Patuxent Voices and the Patuxent High School Chamber Orchestra. Performing Saturday were Bruce Rider & Friends, the Flute Choir of Southern Maryland and Patuxent High School Tri-M Musical Ensemble.
