Navy Contract – August 23, 2012
The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $19,000,000 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) for Engineering Change Proposal 6253R1, Distributed Targeting System, Low Rate Initial Production 2 effort for the F/A-18E/F aircraft. This order includes delivery of 113 “A”, 64 “B” kits, and 20 spare bulk data cartridge units. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Fla. (75 percent); St. Louis, Mo. (21 percent); Muskegon, Mich. (1.5 percent); and various other locations throughout the United States (2.5 percent), and is expected to be completed in October 2014. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
