ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Maryland — There’s a new deputy on patrol in St. Mary’s County. 

Sheriff  Tim Cameron welcomed new Patrol Deputy Dylan Glenn to the force in a socially-distanced swearing-in ceremony on Monday.

St. Mary’s County Circuit Court Clerk Debra Burch administered the oath of office. Deputy Glenn’s father was also on hand to pin on his badge.

Glenn transferred to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office from the Chester Township, Pennsylvania Police Department.

St. Mary’s County residents wished Deputy Glenn good luck on social media.
