North Beach, MD – A new restaurant is coming to North Beach in early 2018 and during the final 2017 meeting of the Board of License Commissioners of Calvert County (the Liquor Board, the owner of the new venture obtained her liquor license.

Monica Lynn Daley of KMP Hospitality LLC is preparing to open the Hook and Vine Kitchen and Bar at 4114 7th Street. If that address sounds familiar, there have been restaurants located at the site before, the most recent being Bilvil.  According to the Hook and Vine Kitchen and Bar Facebook page, the new eatery will specialize in “seafood, bacon, bourbon and wine.”

Daley was able to get friends living in proximity of the new restaurant to sign the petition needed to apply for a Class B On Sale beer, wine and liquor license from the county. She told the liquor board that the restaurant will have 15 employees. Daley has completed the Training Intervention Procedures(TIPs)/Technique of Alcohol Management (TAMs) certification classes.

According to Daley, the ongoing construction work at the soon-to-open restaurant is wrapping up and Hook and Vine Kitchen and Bar should be opening sometime between Jan. 1 and 15.
