The Charles County Arts Alliance presents a new summer art exhibit at the Waldorf West Library, showcasing 37 artists and 54 works of art. The artworks are displayed in four separate gallery spaces which include the main conference room on the first floor, and two study rooms and wall space in the Fiction Section on the second floor.  All the works can also be viewed at www.charlescountyarts.org.

On Saturday, July 18, the Arts Alliance will host a “Meet the Artists” Public Reception, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, to honor all the artists participating in this show. The public is invited to this event, and will have a chance to meet the artists while viewing their works on display throughout the Library. Most of the artworks are available for purchase; the Library’s information desk has copies of the price list. 

The show’s theme was open to the artists and includes works from: Free Akins, Theresa Alo, Cindi Barnhart, Shannon Bland, Tara Blanton, Suzanne Cassidy, William Cassidy, Patricia Childs, Brooke Douglas, Cecelia Dunay, Gale Euchner, Donald Faust, Roxana Gonzales, Patrise Henkel, Shanese Hirmas, Mary Ann Jenkins, Gordon R. Johnson, Addison Likins, Rachel Mann, Vicki Marckel, Ivette Marcucci, Julie Meisel, Constance Moore, Jamie Oliver, Nancy Owens, Marie Collette Parham, Spencer Russell, Shon Simpson, Ernie Sinnes, Beverly Taylor, Pat Troiani, Diane Tuckman, Nailah Turner, Faith Tydings, Shannon Wang, Joseph Wimberly and Amy Julianne Young.

The Library is located at 10405 O’Donnell Place, Waldorf, Maryland. Hours are: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; Friday, 1:00 to 5:00 pm; and Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
