At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at the intersection of South Sandgates and Three Notch Roads there was an accident involving two cars. First reports indicated that a smal black sports car pulled across the cut through and struck a car nortbound on Three Notch Road and fled onto South Sandgates Road.
Authorities later found the black car abandoned in a ditch on South Sandgates Road. There were reports that the driver fled the scene in a silver colored Silverado pickup truck. Authorties are currently searching for the Silverado at this time. Initially the accident was reported as a personal injury accident with one trapped inside the vehicle. When authorities arrived there was no injury and no one was trapped.
