PORT TOBACCO, Md. – On behalf of Commissioner President Peter Murphy, the County Flag will be flown at half-staff effective sunrise Wednesday, Feb. 28 to sunset on March 1, to honor William L. Wedding, Sr. who passed away Feb. 24. He served Charles County and was a lifetime member of the Ironsides Volunteer Rescue Squad, Emergency Volunteer Technician, and the Charles County Mobile Intensive Care Unit.
