One assault suspect located, other still at large

St. Mary’s County, MD — The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office has arrested one of the two suspects they were searching for after the pair violated the conditions of their pretrial release on assault charges.

Police have taken Hannah Rose Whitman, 20, of Lexington Park into custody and she’s currently incarcerated at the St. Mary’s County Detention and Rehabilitation Center.

Shawn Patrick Jeffries, 26, both of Lexington Park, is still at large. The two are known to frequent residences in Lexington Park.

Jeffries is 5’2”, has black hair and weighs 165 pounds.
