LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Units just got off the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Leonardtown that had one trapped inside.

At approximately 3:41p.m. on May 10, police fire and EMS were dispatched to the 25000 block of Point Lookout Road in the area of Lawrence Ave for reports of people trapped in a vehicle following a crash. Upon arrival, crews found a single patient was actually trapped inside a vehicle and needed to be extricated.

First responders worked to stabilize the car and pop the door open.

The patient was then handed over to EMS for treatment. They were eventually transported by ground to the Prince George’s County Hospital. Their condition is currently unknown.
