MECHANICSVILLE, Md. – On May 4, 2024, at approximately 9:12 a.m., emergency personnel responded to northbound Three Notch Road in the area of North Sandgates Road for a serious motor vehicle accident.
Crews arrived on the scene and found a T-bone collision with one vehicle overturned on its roof. Two occupants were reportedly injured and one trapped.
Utilizing the Res-Q-Jack struts, Squad 7 personnel stabilized the vehicle on its roof and worked to remove the trapped occupant from the rear of the vehicle within 15 minutes.
EMS evaluated the patients on the scene and transported one patient to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment. The second patient refused further care.
