HUGHESVILLE, Md. – Crews are responding to reports of a house fire on the 6400 block of Blandford Road, Hughesville. Arriving units report smoke and fire visible from the house with flames spreading quickly. Initial reports say the fire was possibly caused by an oxygen tank and cigarette lighter. One of the occupants is said to have suffered a facial injury and will be flown out from the scene.
Units are on scene, use caution in the area.
