At 10:32 a.m.ย on February 19, volunteers and police were alerted to the area of 45150 First Colony Blvd forย a car crash with injuries in the parking lot of Target, in California.

Engine 92 (FF. Jack Hare), Squad 3 (Sgt. Welch) and Command 9(Chief 9B Rooty Jones) and Command 3 (Fire Chief 3 Johnson) all responded with a total of 15 volunteers, reported Bay District Volunteer Captain Jeff Evans.

St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene of the crash, and found one occupant of the car injuryย and slightly trapped.

Volunteers stabilized the vehicle and covered the car’s airbag. “O” Cutters were used to remove the passenger door of the car. The patient was removed from the car and transported to St. Mary’s County Hospital, Priority 2, with chest pains.

Extrication was completed within 5 minutes of the arrival of the resuce squad.
