LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On January 24, 2021 at approximately 5:09 p.m., police, fire and rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles on Great Mills Road at the intersection of Midway Drive in Lexington Park, MD.
Crews arrived to find three vehicles involved in the roadway, one of the vehicles collided head-on with a traffic light pole. One patient was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
SHA has been notified to respond for damage to the traffic light control box, which has made the traffic light to be non-functional. Use caution in the area.
