July 9thโs River Concert at St. Maryโs College of Maryland will be a grand night of singing when guest conductor and college provost Larry Vote welcomes three young opera stars, including St. Maryโs Cityโs own Olivia Vote, with such favorites as โSummertimeโ from Porgy and Bess and arias from Carmen. The weekly celebrations on the collegeโs Townhouse Green continue every Friday through July 30 with world-class music and a variety of food from local vendors. Gates open at 5 p.m. and concerts start at 7 p.m. These outdoor concerts are free and open to the public, and picnic baskets are welcome.
