UPDATE – 9/15/2025 – CCSO: Stolen Kia Full Of Juveniles Crashes Into Calvert County Home After Police Pursuit

OWINGS, Md. — A vehicle crashed into a house Sunday evening in Owings, leaving the driver trapped and unresponsive before being airlifted to a trauma center. The accident occurred at the intersection of West Mt. Harmony Road and Hall Court around 6:11 p.m. on September 14, 2025.

The driver was found trapped inside the vehicle with no detectable pulse when first responders arrived at the scene. Emergency crews worked to extricate the victim from the car that had left the roadway and struck a residential structure.

Emergency medical services requested helicopter transport for the Priority 1 patient due to the critical injuries sustained in the crash. The victim was classified as requiring immediate advanced medical care and rapid transport to a trauma center.

The intersection of West Mt. Harmony Road and Hall Court became the focus of emergency operations as crews worked to extract the trapped driver and provide life-saving medical care. The crash also caused damage to the residential structure that was struck.

Details about the cause of the crash, extent of property damage, or the current condition of the patient have not been released. The incident remains under investigation by responding emergency personnel.
