ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 14-year-old was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly shooting a man in the face with a paintball gun in Annapolis, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
Officers with the Southern District responded around 5:10 p.m. on March 21, 2026, to the 600 block of Admiral Drive for reports of individuals firing paintball guns in the area. Upon arrival, police spoke with an adult male who reported he had been struck in the face by a paintball fired by an unknown suspect.
During the investigation, officers located a juvenile in the area of Admiral Drive and Jennifer Road who was reportedly holding a paintball gun and behaving in a disorderly manner. The 14-year-old was taken into custody and later positively identified by the victim.
The suspect was charged with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and additional related charges.
