La Plata, MD – Parents Affected By Addiction (PABA) is hosting a support group meeting on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, starting at 6:30 p.m. at CCSO Headquarters in La Plata (Doors open at 6 p.m)
This is a free support group for parents who have a child or loved one addicted to drugs. Most attendees have children who are addicted to heroin or opiates, but there are others who are addicted to methamphetamines, cocaine and or alcohol. The group consists of parents who are in the early stages of discovering an addiction, those who have been in this a while, and parents who have lost children to overdose.
PABA hosts meetings on a monthly basis throughout the southern Maryland region and all meetings are completely confidential.
