WALDORF, Md. – The Charles County Department of Health in cooperation with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office will host the second Parents & Teens: United Against the Opiate Crisis workshop. The workshop will be held on April 21st from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Greater Waldorf Jaycees Community Center in Waldorf, MD. This is a free educational event for parents and their teens.
Come learn valuable information on important topics, such as:
• Adolescent resources
• Opiate and other drug use
• Healthy Relationships
• Staying Safe
• HIV/AIDS and STI related issues
Learn how to communicate better about these topics and build prevention skills.
Narcan training will be offered immediately after the workshop for any interested persons.
