On Nov. 15 at 1:05 a.m., members of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Grays Road in Port Republic for an assault.
A large group of individuals, including juveniles, had gathered at the home when an assault occurred. The victim, Christopher Morgan Hynson, 24 of Prince Georges County, suffered facial injuries and was transported by St. Leonard Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company 7 to Calvert Memorial Hospital but later transferred to the Washington Hospital Center.
Suspects have been identified.
