ย St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Deputy N. Chimko-Fahey responded to a residence in Lexington Park for a report of an assault on March 20.

ย Police investigation revealed a victim and suspect were involved in a verbal altercation.ย  The altercation escalated at which time the suspect, Jay V. Williams, 29, of Lexington Park grabbed the victim by the hair, choked her then threw her to the ground.

ย Williams was arrested, charged with Assault Second Degree and incarcerated in the Detention Center pending a bond hearing before the District Court Commissioner.

ย Deputy J. Maguire responded to a residence in Great Mills for the report of an assault on March 15.
Police Investigation revealed a female victim was assaulted by Gordon A. Mason, 25, of Great Mills following a verbal dispute.ย  Mason was placed under arrest, charged with Assault Second Degree and incarcerated pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

ย Deputy J. Maletto responded to a residence in Leonardtown for the report of a violation of a protective order on March 14.

ย Investigation revealed the suspect, Michelle N. Sinlao, 23, of Leonardtown had entered the residence of the victim after being served with a Protective Order directing her to remain away from the premises of the victim. Sinlao was arrested, charged with Violation of a Protective Order and transported to the Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

ย Trooper G. Thompson responded to the 21000 block of Bristol Avenue in Lexington Park at 4 p.m. March 7 for a reported juvenile assault.

ย Upon arrival contact was made with an 11-year-old female victim who advised the suspect, a 12-year-old female was exiting the school bus and assaulted the victim.

ย Contact was made with the suspect and she was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and released to her mother pending further action by Juvenile Services.
