(L) Deandre Raynard Brown (R) Jerald Immanuel Northington
LAUREL, Md. – August 20, 2018 at approximately 12:38 a.m., officers responded to the Laurel Fire Station located at 3497 Laurel Fort Meade Road for the report of a robbery.
The adult male victim was on Ethel Drive in Laurel when he was approached by two subjects in a red Chevrolet Malibu.
One suspect exited the vehicle, displayed a knife and demanded cash from the victim. The suspect then punched and attempted to stab the victim. The suspect took property from the victim and both suspects then fled in the Chevrolet Malibu.
Officers searched the area and located and apprehended the suspects, Jerald Immanuel Northington of Upper Marlboro and Deandre Raynard Brown of Greenbelt in the 100 block of Ethel Drive.
Northington was charged with robbery and armed robbery. Brown was charged with attempted 1st degree murder, attempted 2nd degree murder, 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, reckless endangerment, robbery, and armed robbery.
