
Daniel Jervan Shaw
Waldorf, MD – On Sept. 15, Det. J. Feldman charged Daniel Jervan Shaw, 18 of Washington, DC, in connection with the Feb. 8 robbery of a pharmacy on Technology Place in Waldorf.
During the robbery Shaw and an accomplice allegedly jumped the pharmacy counter and stole two bottles of cough syrup, threatening a clerk with a metal pipe. Through the course of the investigation, Shaw was identified as a suspect.
Shaw was located in a detention center in Washington, DC, and was subsequently charged with armed robbery.
The investigation is ongoing.
According to court docket summary, Shaw was indicted in Charles County Circuit Court July 29. In addition to armed robbery, the six-count indictment charges Shaw with robbery, theft less than $1,000, second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.
A criminal jury trial regarding the charges against Shaw is tentatively scheduled for January 2017.
