
NANJEMOY, Md. – A 19-year-old driver escaped injury after his pickup truck overturned late Christmas night while attempting to avoid an obstruction in the roadway.
The crash was reported at about 11:27 p.m. Dec. 25 in the 2000 block of Smith Point Road. Officers said the driver was operating a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado when he swerved to avoid a fallen tree, causing the vehicle to flip.
EMS reported no injuries as a result of the crash.
