After the release of photos of distinctive tattoos, Maryland State Police were contacted by family members and have been able to identify a man who was murdered late this morning in Wicomico County.
The victim is identified as Tavin T. Molock, 32, of Salisbury, Md.ย He was pronounced dead at Peninsula Regional Medical Center earlier today.
A description of suspects is not available at this time.ย Investigators believe more than one person may have been involved and the individuals may have included both males and females.
Shortly before 11:30 a.m. today, Salisbury Police Department officers responded to the 400-block of Bethel Street, Salisbury, Md., for the report of an unresponsive person.ย Officers found the victim and noticed he had apparent trauma to the upper torso.ย He was transported to the hospital for treatment, where he later died.
Maryland State Police Homicide Unit investigators were requested to respond and conduct the investigation into this apparent homicide.ย The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was assaulted by one or more suspects while he was on Bethel Street, in Salisbury, shortly after 11:00 a.m. today.
The victimโs body has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore.ย An autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.

Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help as they attempt to identify a man who was murdered late this morning in Wicomico County.
The victim had no identification on him when police arrived and his identity is unknown. He is described as an African American male, possibly in his 30’s.
The victim has two distinct tattoos that investigators are likely familiar to those who may know the victim. On one shoulder is a pit bull with the word “JUICE” under it. On the other shoulder is a bull dog holding a “Tommy gun.”
