On September 8, at 1:55 a.m., TFC J. A. Pilkerton responded to the 23000 block of Esperanza Drive in Lexington Park for the reported assault.
Upon arrival, contact was made with the female victim/complainant, 24 of Lexington Park. She advised she was assaulted by David Bryan Hatcher Jr., 27 of Lexington Park. Hatcher left the residence in a green Dodge truck prior to the police arriving. Hatcher was later located driving on Chancellors Run Road at Pegg Road in Great Mills and was taken into custody and transported to the Leonardtown Barrack for questioning and processing.
He was then taken to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged with Domestic Assault and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
