ย At 2:36 .m. Jan. 29, Cheryl Ann Adams, 47, of Drayden was arrested by TFC L. Nims for possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ย Adams was walking in the northbound lane of Route 5, north of Lawrence Avenue in Leonardtown.

ย A 911 broadcast was made to check her welfare.ย  Contact was made with Adams and TFC Nims observed in plain view two CDS smoking devices protruding from her pants pocket.ย  Adams was taken into custody.

ย A routine check through NCIC revealed Adams also had two outstanding warrants through the St. Maryโ€™s County Sheriffโ€™s Department.ย  She was transported and charged for the possession of Cocaine and possession of CDS smoking devices.ย  She was detained pending a bond review and service of the two warrants.

ย At 12:25 a.m. Jan. 23, Trooper J. Chirichella stopped a 2000 Ford pickup truck for possible DUI violations in the area of Route 260.

ย After failing several field sobriety tests, the driver, Juan A. Argueta-Portillo, 27 of Silver Spring, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol.

ย Search incident to arrest revealed that the driver, Argueta-Portillo, had a small baggie containing suspected cocaine, police say.

ย The subject was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center, after being charged with DUI and Possession of CDS.

ย At 5:55 p.m. Jan. 24, Trooper J. Towers, responded to the K-Mart in Prince Frederick for the report of a theft.ย  Upon arrival, Trooper Towers contact the K-Mart Loss Prevention Supervisor, who had observed a patron remove and hide a bottle of โ€œBlue Seductionโ€ perfume in her pocket.

ย The patron, identified as Sharon Pollyanna John, 54, Prince Frederick, was arrested for theft. Search incident to arrest revealed a plastic straw which contained suspected cocaine residue, police say.

ย John was charged on a Uniform Criminal Citation for both violations.

ย At 3:44 p.m. Jan. 29, Calvert Control Center broadcast a lookout for a vehicle in reference to a theft from the Fastop in Lusby.

ย Trooper J. Stern was in the area and located the vehicle traveling on Tomahawk Trail & Gunsmoke Trail, Lusby.ย  Trooper Stern stopped the vehicle which was occupied by four black males which matched the description of the suspects that had stolen items from Fastop.

ย The driver of the vehicle was identified as Andre Darnell Butler, 19, Lusby, and three passengers, Roscoe Alan Chapelle, 19, Lusby, Marcus Lorenzo Bailey, 21, Lusby, and Gregorick Brent Collington, 21, Great Mills.

ย Search incident to arrest revealed CDS under the rear passenger seat.ย  All subjects were arrested and transported to MSP Prince Frederick.

ย They were all charged with theft and possession of crack cocaine.ย  All four subjects were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.

ย At 5:45 p.m. Jan. 30, Trooper J. Towers was in the area of Woodburn Street in Solomons, when he observed a black male, later identified as Joshua Aaron Makell, 26, of Dunkirk, standing behind a black Toyota pickup truck.

ย Troop
