Deputy Jason Graves was conducting an investigation into a reported theft of a dump truck.
The vehicle was stolen from Avenue. Brett Andrew Hudson, 19, of Avenue was found to be in possession of the stolen vehicle as well as in possession of marijuana.
He was arrested and charged, while the vehicle was returned.
