On Oct. 10, at 12:52 a.m., Corporal Trossbach stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 260 in the area of Route 2 in Owings.
An odor of marijuana was detected by the trooper. A search of the driver revealed that he had a baggie of marijuana hidden in his clothing.
Jasper Bernard Ford, 21 of Waldorf, was placed under arrest. A search of the passenger revealed marijuana in her purse. Kasey Niambia Spruill, 22 of Forestville, was also placed under arrest.
Both were transported to the Calvert County Detention Center.
