On June 20, St. Mary’s County Deputy M. Worry responded to Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, for a report of a domestic assault in progress.
When Deputy Worry arrived, he observed John Andrew Wilson, 33 of Leonardtown, standing over the victim. Investigation revealed Wilson threw the victim to the ground, beat and kicked her. The victim is four months pregnant.
Wilson was arrested and charged with first and second-degree assault.
