CARS AND HOMES DAMAGED/CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD:
During the overnight hours of July 28 into July 29, multiple cars and homes were damaged in several Waldorf neighborhoods. In some cases, the windshields and windows of cars were broken out with a baseball bat or the car mirrors were broken off and tags were stolen.
In other cases, the suspects threw rocks and bottles through the windows of several homes. Officers have been canvassing the neighborhoods and obtaining additional information; they are pursuing strong leads in the case. Officers are asking the public’s help in gathering additional evidence.
A witness reported seeing the suspects in a red Chevy Silverado pick-up truck. Many homes in the affected areas have security systems equipped with cameras. Officers would like homeowners with this surveillance equipment to check footage from July 28 through July 29 and to contact them if the truck is spotted or if there is any unusual activity.
In addition, anyone who saw a red Chevy pick-up truck in the area is asked to call. The following addresses are where the vandalisms occurred:
