I am hoping you can help spread this information about the Tiki Bar.
I was just recently informed that the County Government is demanding that the owners of the Tiki Bar on Solomonโs Island remove the sand, palm trees and statutes from the new courtyard and NOT use the new entrance to the back parking lot.
This is NUTS. As a new to Baltimore resident who travels to Calvert County for entertainment, I am completely impressed with the improvements the new owners have made and I believe as patrons we need to contact the local Calvert County officials and voice displeasure at this change.
These statutes, the sand and investments the owners have made actually IMPROVE the look and feel of a popular area bringing vital income resources to the Island.
I believe any removal would detract from the now impressive look and feel of the new facility.
Anyone else who wants to send an e-mail to your government official can do so the following addresses:
Gerry Clark:ย ย clarkw@co.cal.md.us
Wilson Parran: parranwh@co.cal.md.us
Linda Kelley:ย kelleyll@co.cal.md.us
Dave Hale:ย ย ย ย haledf@co.cal.md.us
Susan Shaw: shaws@co.cal.md.us
I believe together we can help the owners of the Tiki Bar preserve the investments they have made to this landmark facility. I can not speak for the owners of the Tiki Bar, but they do have a general e-mail of info@ptholdings.net if you want to send a copy of your e-mail to them.ย ย
Sincerely, Rose Johnson, Baltimore (Rosedale)
