With less than one week to go before Election Day we conservatives; Republicans, Democrats and Independents, are constantly assailed with the bad news…It’s all over except for the fat lady singing the blues!
Every Presidential election is the same, the obviously (to us common sense working class voters) bias media pushes for their utopian leader, in this case Barack Obama and the Democratic leadership in Congress. The daily deluge of liberal bias is sometimes taxing, always frustrating and rarely accurate. Their agenda? Simple, suppress the vote of the common sense person, those people who are inclined to vote against a person, or party, that supports spreading the wealth to further a socialist movement meant to grow the already burgeoning Federal Government. Who are we? Carpenters, plumbers, postal workers, stay at home moms, office workers, retirees, police officers, bus drivers, watermen, military personnel, real estate agents; we are in every walk of life you can think of. We believe in a strong, not over reaching, government. We believe in finding a solution to the education issues for our children, not throwing money into a sieve. We believe that everyone should have a right to speak out and when they do not be called a racist, a warmonger, a rightwing extremist. We believe that God is an intricate part of our lives and that we should have the right to pray when and where we want.
One thing we have to keep in mind, the media, by and large, supports the liberal/socialist agenda of any politician. When you see the poll numbers from the print media or hear poll numbers on any of the mainstream TV networks, such as NBC (National Barrack Channel), you can rest assured that they are going to use poll numbers that favor their candidate of choice, in this case Barrack Hussein Mohamad (bet most of you have not heard that part of his name!) Obama, Joseph Robinette Biden and the Democratic Leadership, which includes are own Congressman Steny Hoyer. These poll numbers reflect the urban areas that are strong points of Obama’s voters. The majority of these polls are taken from registered voters, the numbers are quite different when the likely voters are polled, a virtual dead heat with the margin of error thrown in. So, damn the torpedoes! Push the throttle full steam ahead, get your fellow conservative neighbors and associates out to vote and show the powers-that-be they can not thwart us from doing our patriotic duty. In this election, at this time, the words of President Ronald Reagan seem almost prophetic, “ Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
This election is about two political ideologies that have been banging heads throughout history. Do we
take the first steps into that darkness of socialism, a form of government that regulates every aspect of our lives? Or do we uphold the principals that have made this Great Country of ours the “shining city on a hill”.
