Restaurant Offers Free Food To Customers To Help Employees Train

GAMBRILLS, Md. – A new restaurant in Gambrills will hold its grand opening on Friday, March 22nd, but first, they’re offering free meals today to help train their employees.

While today’s community preview event is sold out, several guests preregistered to try out Cava, a Mediterranean restaurant in the Waugh Chapel Towne Center.

Cava’s menu includes items like salad, grain bowls, and pita wraps.

Guests who attend today have the option to donate and Cava will match up to $1,000 of those donations that will go to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank.

Cava is also donating hundreds of meals to Celestial Manna, a food recovery nonprofit that supports 20,000 people each month across the DMV.

Cava has locations in 24 states and Washington, D.C.
