Rifle-Wielding Suspects Rob Victims After Parking Car In Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Detectives with the Anne Arundel County Police Department Southern District are investigating a citizen robbery that occurred in Annapolis. The incident happened on May 6, 2024, in the 300 block of Broad Creek Drive in Annapolis.

At approximately noon, two adult males and one adult female had parked and exited their car at a residence. They were then approached by two male suspects who arrived in a blue vehicle. One of the suspects was armed with a rifle.

The suspects demanded the victims to drop their property. One of the victims were pushed, causing him to drop his bag. The suspect retrieved the bag containing personal items.

Both suspects then got into a blue sedan operated by a third suspect and fled. One of the victims sustained a minor injury from being pushed to the ground.

The first suspect is described as a young, thin Black male dressed in all-black clothing. The second suspect is described as a young, thin Black male wearing a white sweatshirt. The third suspect’s identity remains unknown.
