Celebrity Reader Robert Rausch helped to kick off National Reading Month March 1 by visiting CSM’s St. Charles Children’s Learning Center.

LA PLATA, Md. – Former Charles County Public School music educator and past president of the Charles County Arts Alliance (CCAA) Robert Rausch helped to kick off National Reading Month March 1 by visiting the St. Charles Childrenโ€™s Learning Centerย  (CLC) at the College of Southern Maryland (CSM).

As the guest celebrity reader, Rausch read โ€œOn The Night You Were Bornโ€ by Nancy Tillman to pre-schoolers as part ofย  โ€œRead Across America.โ€ The National Education Association (NEA)โ€™s โ€œRead Across Americaโ€ is an annual reading motivation and awareness program that calls for every child in every community to celebrate reading on March 2, the birthday of beloved childrenโ€™s author Dr. Seuss.
