There was thunder in Washington DC on Sunday, May 24 in the afternoon as approximately 500,000 motorcyclists carrying US flags and POW-MIA flags paraded through the museum area to the White House to call for government recognition and protection of the Prisoners of War (POW) and those Missing in Action (MIA).
The annual motorcycle rally by the Rolling Thunder drew crowds of people to watch and wave as they went through the streets starting at the Pentagon and ending at the Viet Nam Memorial.
TheBAYNET.com was there to capture all the ceremony and honor of the event. The following photos are courtesy of Shirley Ellis.
