An accident during rush hour at the intersection of state Route 235 and state Route 4 sent two drivers to local hospitals.
It appears that a 45 year-old woman driving a Ford SUV may have rear-ended a male in a pick-up truck, flipping her car on its side.
The woman was unconscious and air-evacuated from the scene and taken to Prince George’s Shock Trauma. The male driver was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. A reconstruction team was called to the scene.
The accident had traffic on northbound state Route 235 backed up to Chancellor’s Run road.
