On Thursday, March 4 at approximately 2:45 p.m., the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to Chaneyville Road and Route 4 in Owings for a school bus involved in an accident. Emergency units arrived on the scene to discover a bus had ben involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle.
Students were removed from the bus. Two patients had injuries requiring them to be transported to Calvert Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The accident is under investigation by police.
